Preparing customs documents and completing formalities requires a great deal of knowledge and experience. Customs legislation, rules, and procedures within the EU change frequently and are complex. A good customs clearance and the fulfillment of formalities are crucial in all the work that Nouveau Shipping & Transport carries out. TEAM Nouveau has this extensive knowledge and is, as one of the first freight forwarders in the Port of Rotterdam, since 2010 AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) certified by the Dutch customs authority.

Within our automated processes, we complete all import, export, and transit customs clearances. We take care of everything.

Our automated process includes the following steps:

1. We collect the necessary information from you.
2. We process this information and prepare the customs declaration.
3. We send the customs declaration to customs.
4. We track the status of the customs declaration and keep you updated on the progress.

In addition to standard declarations, our customers can access a large database on specific customs permits, indirect and direct representation, tax representation, binding tariff information (BTI), anti-dumping procedures, and storage of customs goods.

In combination with import customs clearance, we advise our customers on all VAT-related matters. We have a great deal of experience and knowledge with regard to fulfilling EU VAT obligations.
